After 33 years of service, I retired from the Wichita Fire Department in September 09. Judy is teaching at St. Mark's grade school. It is part of the Renwick School district. I have been playing some golf, fishing, hunting and working some part-time. I ordered a new Harley (mid-life crisis has hit me late) that should be here in time for the reunion ride. If I don't break my neck first. I have enjoyed retirement so far. Looking foward to seeing all of you at the 35th reunion.

I can remember skipping class with John Baxter Donnie Richardson Steve Conway and The Shirk. We would go fishing at "The Big Ditch". (Now you know why I had to go into burning buildings for a living.) On weekends we would go fishing at "the crooked bass hole" I remember lifting weights with Mike Shirkey and Mark Bryant at Artie Dillon's gym. (All that lifting and I'm still a fat old man. Crap!) And who didn't hang out at Karen Hermans house?
